Working in Retail On many Royal Caribbean ships, we offer the position of Assistant Manager, Sales. This position requires a person with strong customer service skills, the ability to communicate well with passengers, good organizational skills and a desire to sell. You will have full responsibility for the daily operations of the retail shop. There is only one Assistant Manager, Sales per ship, so you will be using all of your talents to display products as well as sell them. In the shop, we carry cameras, digital cameras, film, batteries, photo accessories, frames and albums. You will report directly to the Photo Manager, but will also have open communication with the main office. You will be responsible for the retail paperwork, and requisitions of products for your shop. Receiving merchandise and record keeping are also important parts of the job. Your salary is based on your ability to sell. If you enjoy the products that we carry, and have a desire to make money while you travel, this is the position for you.
